What's New for the Ford F-250SD?
The F-250SD gets some exciting updates for the latest model year for our customers from Commerce. A 6.8-liter V8 gas engine now comes standard on the XLT and Lariat trims, and now pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission. You can now opt for a two-kilowatt Pro Power Onboard setup on the King Ranch and Platinum trims. The Super Cab setup is now only available on XL and XLT trims with an eight-foot box. The Platinum trim gains new accent and exterior trim colors.
Ford F250 SD Trim Comparison
The F-250SD has six trim levels for Lavonia drivers to consider:
- XL: The base trim comes standard with a potent 6.8-liter V8 engine that produces 405 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. Other standard features include power windows and door locks, a power-locking tailgate, remote engine start, manual air conditioning, and an eight-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
- XLT: Builds on the XL with standard four-wheel drive, foglights, carpeted floors, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.
- Lariat: Adds LED exterior lighting, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a 12-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, an eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, and additional safety features..
- King Ranch: Adds an Old West design theme, 20-inch alloy wheels, front parking sensors, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, unique leather upholstery, and additional safety features.
- Platinum: Boasts a similar suite of features as the King Ranch, but swaps the Old West-inspired design for a more modern aesthetic.
